Colleagues in STEM:

As co-sponsors of the Massachusetts STEM Summit, the STEM Advisory Council, the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, and the UMass Donahue Institute have made the decision to postpone the STEM Summit originally planned for April 15th, 2020.

On March 10th, 2020, the Baker-Polito Administration announced guidance to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 including, but not limited to, the cancellation of conferences, seminars, and other discretionary gatherings. On March 13th, 2020, the Baker-Polito Administration announced the order prohibiting assemblages of 250 people or more. The co-sponsors of the STEM Summit hold the health and safety of our attendees as a priority and so in an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to postpone the STEM Summit.

We remain committed to the mission, vision, and planning of the STEM Summit as originally intended. Thus we have further postponed the Summit to 2021. The Summit organizers will identify a date in 2021 that allows to have a full Summit.

Registration status: April registrations will be honored at the rescheduled STEM Summit, no action is needed. All refund requests will be processed. Email STEMSummitInfo@donahue.umassp.edu to request a refund.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you this Fall.
