Volunteers are reviewing a large number of session and exhibit proposals

Decisions will be made by the end of July

Jun 11, 2015

The proposals are in for the 2015 Massachusetts STEM Summit and the response was very strong!  Thank you to everyone who submitted ideas. The response is a reflection of the importance of, and interest in, STEM in the state.

Our teams of volunteer reviewers are already looking at over 120 session and 70 plus exhibit proposals! The reviewing teams are organized into 9 “strands” or areas of focus including early education, K-12 education, two year higher education, four year higher education, digital education, out-of-school time, innovation & entrepreneurship, and research & practice. Over 40 volunteers from multiple STEM areas of practice will read over every proposal in their strand then discuss and vote for this year’s summit participants. This is a competitive process and respondents will be notified about the decisions by the end of July.

We thank all the volunteers for providing their invaluable time to make this program engaging for the attendees.
