Project Lead The Way, PK -12 Curricular Pathways, Inspiring Career Confidence

Presented by: Project Lead The Way

Strand:

Explore and experience PLTW’s PK-12 curricular pathways in Engineering, Biomedical and Computer Science. PLTW provides an engaging, hands-on classroom environment and empowers students to develop in-demand knowledge and skills they need to thrive. We provide teachers with the training, resources, and support they need to engage students in real-world learning. Our standards-based curriculum is aligned to Common Core (Math and ELA), 100% coverage of NGSS and more. PLTW’s Core Training enables teachers build skills and confidence around activity-, project-, and problem-based (APB) learning; prepares educators to become facilitators and coaches, and empowers them to bring learning to life through their PLTW program. In Massachusetts there are over 200 schools and 35,000 students in PLTW programs. Our partner, the Mass STEM Hub provides authentic industry experiences and mentors for students along with other engaging program support. PLTW Core Training takes place at WPI and UMass Lowell. Training includes embedded industry experiences.
