Hands-on biology resources to prep students for STEM careers – including those in outer space!

Presented by: miniPCR bio

Teachers: join miniPCR bio to learn how to incorporate cutting-edge biotechnology into your curriculum, build foundational scientific skills, and make challenging concepts like the central dogma come alive for your students. Not only does this lab teach a crucial concept in biology, it also offers an opportunity for students to practice micropipetting, the most commonly used laboratory technique in biology, chemistry, and medicine. You’ll also learn about our annual Genes in Space competition, which invites students in grades 7 through 12 to design experiments that solve a space exploration problem through DNA analysis. One winning experiment is launched to the ISS!
