Green chemistry is the science of creating safe, energy efficient, and non-toxic processes and products that provide sustainable solutions for the environmental problems facing our society today. By teaching green chemistry and sustainable science at all grade levels, educators can inspire students to solve problems they care about using the STEM concepts they are learning in the classroom. Through open-access curriculum resources and professional development, Beyond Benign provides educators with the tools, training and support to prepare students to enter the workforce with the skills needed for the emerging sustainability economy.
